Hreflang tag setting for large eCommerce website

CASE-STUDY
The client had 44 sites in different regions of the world, and all these sites were simultaneously ranked and appeared in the SERP, creating chaos. A site from the USA, a site from Brazil, or Europe could appear for the same key request. This created confusion for the buyer. My task was to fix it.

ISSUE

I setup the Hreflang tags on every website from all 44 domains and determine them to their locations and languages. It was a long-lasting enormous work where I work with ebery page URL. The brand has 44 domains all over the world and every domain has a lot of eCommerce pages, so you could just imagin the scope of work :) But I loved that.

A mess with websites locations by locations of the searchers.
Websites of US locations were shown in search only for Us locations and so on.
Finally, websites of stores located in definite countries appear in those countries' web search. So, the challenge was closed succesfully.
